Financial assistance for travel expenses for student authors from India, Nepal, and Bhutan attending IPRECON 2026
Regional Student Travel Support Available
Travel Support is available only for Student Authors from India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Delegates from other countries are supported through the Student Housing Support program.
Student Travel Support Limits
Kerala
Up to ₹2,000 or 3rd Class AC train fare (whichever is lower)
Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh
Up to ₹3,500 or 3rd Class AC train fare (whichever is lower)
Rest of India
Up to ₹5,000 or 3rd Class AC train fare (whichever is lower)
(excluding 7 North-Eastern States)
NE India, Bhutan & Nepal
Up to ₹7,500 or 3rd Class AC train fare or by other means of
transport(whichever is lower)
(7 Sister States, Bhutan & Nepal)
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must have a paper accepted at IPRECON 2026 and must complete full conference registration before applying for Student Travel Support.
The applicant must be an active IEEE Student or Graduate Student Member (GSM) with valid membership status during the conference period.
Priority will be given to applicants with valid IEEE IAS and/or PES Memberships in addition to their student membership.
Students receiving travel support from their university/Other means are not eligible for this funding. All applicants must submit a declaration confirming that they are not receiving any other travel support, in order to avoid duplication of funding.
Important Information
Support is limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Reimbursement will be provided after reaching the venue and completing the registration process.
All Student Travel Support is subject to available funds and conference budget allocations. Delegates are advised to apply early to ensure consideration for financial assistance.

Student Travel Support applications are open now for authors with an accepted paper who have completed their full conference registration. Apply using the online application form — you will need your Paper ID, your IEEE membership details, and a declaration from your institution.
